Senior Software Engineer

Procore is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with in-depth knowledge of Ruby on Rails. If you have experience in agile development and can think in Ruby, we would like to meet you. Experience with Javascript libraries, preferably jQuery, is a plus. Must be knowledgeable in SQL (PostgreSQL), and familiar with the *nix environment. We would prefer someone who is easy going, wants to share and gain knowledge and enjoys a start-up company environment.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of software development experience
• 2+ years of Ruby on Rails
• Experience enhancing, optimizing and upgrading a production Ruby on Rails site under load
• Solid understanding of a typical web development life cycle, including development, testing, staging, deployment and monitoring
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and Javascript (particularly jQuery)
• Proficient with SQL & PostgreSQL
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, etc)
• Must be able to provide code samples of previous work

Client Services Project Manager

Procore is seeking a Client Services-Project Manager whose primary functions are to serve as the primary point of contact for clients, create and maintain project plans, and facilitate completion of special projects. The Client Services Manager will act as a liaison between Procore and its customers. This person will work to resolve problems and ensure that products are delivered timely and as expected.

Responsibilities include:

Client Management
• Serve as primary point of contact for client
• Manage client expectations and establish long-term relationships
• Facilitate communication and issue resolution
• Validate that user expectations are achieved during the testing process.
Project Management
• Create and maintain project plans according to the client’s contract.
• Assure overall project quality by conducting Quality Control checks and testing
• Obtain client approval and sign-off on project milestones
• Maintain accurate records of transactions and keep documentation current for client related information
Requirements
• Maintaining and requesting client related information
• Bachelors degree required
• Two or more years of project management experience
• Strong understanding of technology
• Strong software skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
